Support the Work

Pollination. Redistribution. Growth.

My practice centers the principle that finances should never limit access to support.

The inequitable distribution of financial wealth perpetuates harm and limits access to support, particularly to QTBIPOC (queer, trans, black, indigenous, and people of color) individuals and communities. I work predominantly with QTBIPOC, including students and minimum-wage workers. I work on a sliding scale, and see many clients pro bono.

Shouting “self-care” at people who actually need “community care” is how we fail people

—Nakita Valerio

The Collective Care Fund is a mutual aid model, built by community to support community. In a rapidly changing world where resource scarcity is increasing particularly for those already struggling, the need for access to services deepens. Putting action behind the words “self-care is community care” means resource redistribution. No contribution is too small or too large. If this philosophy resonates, if you have found my online content useful, if you have a loved one who is a client: please consider contributing.

Community care also means that larger groups with more collective resources can more readily support individuals. If you are part of an institution, organization or community group, or know someone who is, please consider sharing and contributing, or partnering with me in ways that could be mutually supportive to our community.
